Abstract:	Reading comprehension is the ability to understand written information and to interpret it appropriately. The use of CTL method in the learning process is expected to help the students. The main objective of this research is to find out the effectiveness and implementation CTL on reading comprehension. This research applied quantitative method. This research conclusion was the use of CTL method can significantly improve the reading comprehension of the students toward narrative text.
