Abstract:	Most of the students have low ability in speaking English. Many factors can cause the students speaking problem, including inappropriate teaching technique students could use their English creatively. The objective of the research is to know whether or not role play can effective to improve students speaking skill. The research result showed that alternative hypothesis is accepted, means role play is effective to improve students' speaking skill.
