Abstract:	The title of this paper entitled "Improviong students' writing skill of descriptive text by using picture series" aim to improve students writing skill of descriptive text by using picture series. This study was classroom action research that was conducted in 2 cycle. The research result conclude that picture series helped to improve writing skills, improve students' interest and good attitude in learning process.
