Abstract:	Reading is one of the teaching learning objective without neglecting the other language components such as grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation as well as the spelling. Teacher must be able to create fun and interest method in the classroom which can  easily acceptable by the students. Based on the research result, it can be concluded that the use of small group discussion can improve their reading comprehension of the decsriptive text.
