Improving Indonesian Elementary School Students’ Writing Skill on Narrative Text using “GOGREEN” Learning Mode
Background:We found several problems that showed students wrote essays in an irregular manner.
They experienced difficulties to distinguish between the topic sentence and the main idea. Their
writing skill may fall into poor criteria. In addition to preliminary study, we conducted a writing
competition in the schools. In terms of their participation, there was only 36% of the 150 students in
the four schools participated. This shows their low participation and motivation to demonstrate their
writing skill
