| Abstract: | This research is about an analysis of english derivatives used in the Jakarta Post articles. Derivation is the process of forming a new word from an existing word. Therefore this research is about analyze the modification of the words. The main objective of this research is to find out what are derivational words from prefixation and suffixation of the Jakarta post articles. The articles are especially the education columns of the Jakarta Post articles. This research uses qualitative research design through descriptive method .The derivational affixes that are found in total of 158 words. |
