Abstract:	The objective of this research was to find out whether or not teaching vocabularies using anagram was effective to improve students' vocabulary mastery. In this research the writer used experimental design and quantitative research method. The research result showed that the effect size of value can be categorized as strong effect size. Therefore anagram was proven to be effective to improve students' vocabulary mastery.
