Abstract:	The mastery of vocabulary is very important for everyone to understand a language, especially in ENglish that becomes a power of many languages and has been used as international language. The students can master vocabulary by doing reading activities. The researcher used extensive reading activities to help students mastering in vocabulary. The research method is classroom action research (CAR). After implementing extensive reading activities the students score improve in each cycle. From interview and questionnaire students give positive response towards the use of extensive reading activities in the process of teaching and learning English lesson. In other word, extensive reading activities can improve the students' vocabulary mastery and help the students' learning situation in English lesson better.
