Abstract:	Studying English especially in developing countries like Indonesia is important and we know that English is regarded that as a world language. It is used to help people understand easily what they are talking about and it will also make people easier to understand them. The objetive of this research was to find out whether or not teaching pronunciation using English song lyric was effective to improve students' pronunciation ability. In this research, the writer used quantitative research method and pretest postest control group design. The research result showed that the effect size value of using song has a strong effect size. It means that teaching pronunciation using English song lyrics as effective to improve students' pronunciation ability.
