Abstract:	Recount text using the Discovery Learning method. It can be concluded that Discovery Learning is considered as an effective learning model for teaching writing Recount Text to class X students. This can be seen from the composition of the students' wriitng which is mostly labeled "good to moderate" level. They write simple Recount Text with good content and organization, rich vocabulary, proper grammar, and mechanics.
