Abstract: Vocabulary is one of the elements of language that should be learned. Since English is foreign language in Indonesia, vocabulary mastery can be some of the problem for students. This research entitled “Teaching Vocabulary using Collaborative Learning by Fly Swatter game”, and the aim of this research are to find out the implementation of the scenario, to find out teacher and students responses and to find out difficulties faced by students in learning vocabulary using collaborative learning by fly swatter game. The method used in this research was a qualitative method. Observation sheets, questionnaires, and documents were used as the instrument for collecting the data. The subject of this research is twenty-nine students of seventh grade in one of Junior High School in Cimahi academic year 2020/2021. The results were the implementation of a scenario in the classroom that has been implemented well, it showed in the observation sheet from the original teacher very much agrees with this implementation of the scenario. The responses from students and teachers is positive, it shows from questionnaires and from observation sheets from researchers as teachers. The difficulties faced by students in learning is to memorize vocabulary. The researcher concludes that using fly swatter games is effective because teaching vocabulary using collaborative learning by fly swatter game helped the students to improve their vocabulary mastery and the students more enjoyed when teaching learning in class
